Latino Small Businesses the Focus of the Small Business Administration's Recent Visit to Tucson

The City of Tucson as honored by a visit from Cabinet Member Guzman to kick off her Latino Prosperity Tour.

She selected Tucson as the location for the kick-off in part because of the innovation exhibited by Transform Tucson Fund and the AVANZA Empowerment Program, as she mentioned in her comments at the press conference. These programs are signature collaborations between the City of Tucson and the Industrial Development Authority through their 501(c)3, Groundswell Capital.

Our CEO, Dre Thompson, was invited to participate in an event closed to the press, Latino Leaders Roundtable and was able to share more specifically about our work and the needs of our community.
